Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Bagdogra to Phuentsholing
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station and begin your scenic drive towards Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan. Travel through lush tea estates and beautiful landscapes before checking into the hotel. Spend the evening at leisure and enjoy your first overnight stay in Bhutan.
Day 2 – Phuentsholing to Thimphu | Scenic Himalayan Drive
After completing immigration formalities, proceed towards Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. En route, stop at Chuzom, the confluence of two rivers, and witness the beautiful Bhutanese, Tibetan, and Nepali-style stupas. Enjoy the scenic mountain roads and peaceful surroundings before reaching Thimphu for an overnight stay.
Day 3 – Punakha Excursion via Dochula Pass
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day excursion to Punakha via the spectacular Dochula Pass offering panoramic Himalayan mountain views and the famous 108 chortens. Visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong located at the confluence of two rivers and explore the scenic Suspension Bridge decorated with colorful prayer flags. Optional river rafting activities can also be enjoyed in Punakha. Return to Thimphu for an overnight stay.
Day 4 – Thimphu Sightseeing & Transfer to Paro
Explore the cultural attractions of Thimphu including Simply Bhutan Museum, Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang), Handicrafts Market, and the famous Takin Reserve. Experience Bhutanese culture, local crafts, and stunning city views before proceeding to the beautiful valley town of Paro for an overnight stay.
Day 5 – Tiger Nest Monastery Trekking
Today, embark on the unforgettable hike to the iconic Tiger Nest Monastery (Taktsang Monastery), one of Bhutan’s most famous landmarks perched dramatically on a cliffside. Enjoy breathtaking mountain scenery and spiritual surroundings during the trek. Later, visit the sacred Kyichu Lhakhang monastery, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples. Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 6 – Paro Local Sightseeing & Transfer to Phuentsholing
After breakfast, enjoy local sightseeing in Paro including the stunning Paro Airport Viewpoint, Ta Dzong National Museum, and the historic Rinpung Dzong known for its beautiful Bhutanese architecture and Buddhist wall paintings. Explore the local Paro Market for souvenirs and traditional handicrafts before transferring back to Phuentsholing.
Day 7 – Phuentsholing to Bagdogra Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your return journey with unforgettable memories of your Bhutan vacation.

To confirm your international tour booking with SBIT Travels Pvt Ltd, the following payment terms shall apply:

FIT / Individual Bookings
- Full flight fare must be paid at the time of booking confirmation.
- 50% of the land package cost must be paid in advance to confirm the booking.
- Remaining 50% balance payment must be cleared at least 30 days prior to departure.
Group Departures
- For all group tour departures, full payment must be completed 45 days prior to departure date.
- Bookings will be confirmed only upon receipt of the required payment.
Bookings are subject to availability of flights, hotels, visas, and other travel services.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or official communication.
Flight Cancellation Policy
- International flight tickets are completely non-refundable once booked.
- Group flight bookings are also non-refundable.
- Date changes or postponements may be considered only as per airline rules and subject to:
- Seat availability
- Airline approval
- Applicable airline rescheduling charges and fare differences
Land Package Cancellation Charges
The following cancellation charges will apply on the land portion of the package:

Refund Policy
- Eligible refunds, if any, will be processed within 15–30 working days from the date of cancellation approval.
- Refunds will be processed only after receiving confirmation from airlines, hotels, transport providers, and other service partners.
- Convenience fees, visa charges, insurance charges, forex charges, and service fees are non-refundable.
- Any refund against unused services during the tour will not be entertained.
- In case of visa rejection, cancellation charges applicable on booked services will still apply.
Important Terms & Conditions
- Passport validity must be minimum 6 months from the date of travel.
- Travelers are responsible for providing accurate documents for visa and travel processing.
- Tour cost may change due to currency fluctuation, airline fare revision, tax changes, or government regulations.
- The company shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations, natural calamities, political disturbances, airline disruptions, or any circumstances beyond control.
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all international travel.
No Show Policy
Failure to report for the tour, flights, transfers, hotel stay, or any booked service without prior written cancellation shall be treated as a No Show, and no refund shall be applicable under any circumstances.
